Urban Gardening in Small Spaces

Image
Living in a small apartment doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy gardening. With a little creativity, even a tiny balcony can turn into a green paradise. Start with easy plants like money plant, tulsi, aloe vera, or mint. These plants require less maintenance and grow well in small spaces. Use small pots or even recycled containers like bottles and jars. Make sure your plants get enough sunlight—at least 3–4 hours a day. Water them regularly, but don’t overwater. That’s one of the most common mistakes beginners make. You can also decorate your balcony with hanging pots or vertical plant stands to save space. Gardening is not just about plants—it’s also about peace and relaxation. Watching your plants grow will give you a sense of happiness and achievement. So start small, stay consistent, and enjoy your green journey.

Minimalist Life: My 30-Day Declutter Journey

Minimalism is not about having less—it’s about making space for what truly matters. A few weeks ago, I decided to challenge myself with a 30-day declutter journey, and it completely changed my mindset. I started small—my study table, my wardrobe, and even my phone. I removed items I hadn’t used in months. At first, it felt difficult to let go, but slowly, I realized how peaceful a clean space feels. One important lesson I learned is that we often hold onto things for emotional reasons. But memories don’t live in objects—they live in us. Once I understood this, letting go became easier. By the end of the 30 days, my room looked cleaner, my mind felt calmer, and I was more focused. If you want to start minimalism, begin with one drawer or one corner. You don’t need to do everything at once. Minimalism is a journey, not a destination—and every small step counts.
